“I have found the Light! I am never going back to the darkness.” Powerful words when your Arab brothers have a knife at your throat, trying to force you to recant your faith in Jesus and return to following the Quran.
This particular Christian miraculously escaped his brother’s grasp and fled out of the house. He is not letting fear control him, but is now even more determined to tell others about Jesus. He even hopes to start a church in his home. Indeed, may that all become reality, in the name of Jesus!
May that declaration be true every day in our lives, no matter our circumstances. Although we’ve probably never had a knife put to our throat for any reason, we must join with our Arab brother to live with the same resolve! Whatever inner or outer battles we are fighting, we must determine that the way of the LIGHT is the only way of LIFE!
Our Muslim neighbors, both near and far, desperately need that same Light of Jesus. June 6th is the beginning of Ramadan. During the following 30 days, many Muslims are more intently seeking after “God”, to both gain his favor and to have a sign from him about some special need.
We urge you to be in significant prayer for our Muslim neighbors to encounter Jesus and to be set free during the upcoming 30 days. Even better, ask a friend or your Small Group to somehow join you in this world-changing endeavor.
