Tourists come from all over the world to go on safari in the beautiful Maasai Mara in southwest Kenya, but the people of Crossroads Christian Church, Corona, Calif., see something different when they visit.
“We have always seen it as an opportunity to work with the Maasai tribes,” said Lisa Mitchison, Global Outreach Ministers at Crossroads. “Most of the Maasai still live in houses made of mud, sticks, grass and cow dung and live a nomadic life, going where their cattle can best be fed.”
