Palmy Christian Testimony – University Ministry in Bangkok, Thailand
Used to be a Buddhist, who went to the Temple, worshipped goddess Gua Hin, goddess of the river, and attended the Catholic church. I always searched for the meaning of life. I believed that every god helps those who helped themselves first. So I had to do a lot of really good things. Most people told me that this will lead me to heaven after death.
In 2006, when I was 10 years old at school, there was a missionary that came to my class. She said about the end of the world. The Son of Man will return. God will destroy this earth with fire. That’s all I remember. And then I questioned myself if this really happens to me what should I do? But no one can clarify. Until 2015 when I was reading a book at the university. There were 2 girls that came to me. They are Thai and Korean students. They talk about Jesus with the 4 Laws booklet. They told me this Jesus is the Way, Jesus is the Truth, Jesus is the only one that can save me from Hell. He died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. That is enough! Then I saw a picture that I can walk across this road to reconnect with God. I pray so loud and accepted Jesus that day.
One day, I was so sick. I can’t walk, can’t even get up from my bed. It was so scared, because I was alone. I thought of God and prayed for His healing. I laid on my bed and prayed all night. The next morning I am healed. He saved me. This is how He showed me that He always with me. I can see God by my faith and not by my sight. Jesus loves me. He is my savior. He is my healer. He has overcome the world, has overcome all disease. He is the King above all Kings. Thank you Jesus!
