You may not know it, but since 2011, each January has been proclaimed as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention month. As believers, we feel the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus by fulfilling his call, “to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners” (Isaiah 61:1 – NIV).
At ICOM, it is our calling to help mobilize the body by connecting people to ministries who do this very work. Please take time to view and share the video: Sarah Rose. Watch it with your kids, share it with your friends and family, so that you can have a conversation about good, evil and freedom in Jesus. Do your part to bind up the brokenhearted and proclaim freedom to those in captivity.
