My wife, Sherree, and I are leading a trip to Israel! This is an unexpected trip for both of us. We hadn’t really considered going to Israel until Dann Spader asked us to lead a trip with him. As soon as he asked us – we were all in! We have become more excited about this as we’ve begun preparing to announce this trip. Dann Spader is an amazing teacher, mentor and friend.

That is the key difference about this trip for us – Dann. I attended a series of classes over a 9 month period taught by Dann Spader about the life of Jesus that challenged me to the core. I wish I had $50 for every time Dann said to me, “Dave, I need to take you with me to Israel”. I tended to write it off when he mentioned it. By the end of studying the life of Christ during these classes, I had done a complete 180 degree turnaround in my attitude. Now I can’t wait to go. Seriously! I have never had the life of Christ given to me the way Dann has taught me.  I have always heard of people who have gone and experienced some things being near the place where maybe Jesus might have sat or stepped. One of the real joys for me will be to get to experience it all with my wife!

There are some things to note about this trip:

  • This trip will be a financial commitment.
    • The cost for the trip is $2,600 for a double occupancy room. There is an additional cost for a single occupancy room. This does not include the cost of your flights.
      • The good news is that we have a “payment plan” of sorts set up where we take payments for the trip in 4 installments!
  • The bus only holds 45 people.  I know of 14 going already!
  • Registration is open now! Your first payment of $600 is due with registration.
